About

From Chronic Sickness to Health

Jennifer Swetz, NBC-HWC, CNS, LDN

My story begins with my inner critics, which constantly masqueraded as self-protectors that were only trying to help me in life.  Throughout my life, my inner critics have stepped in “just in time” to keep me from taking risks, from truly seeing my truth.  They have always told me to step down, stay quiet, keep from showing yourself.  That way, you cannot fail, and you are not at risk of getting hurt or hurting others.  They always told me that I just wasn’t quite enough.  I could not do anything without a fail-safe plan.

Coaching taught me to see within myself all the ways that I am enough, and more.  It showed me that I have always had everything I need to be perfect in my own way.  I was able to view my life through a completely different lens.  It opened a whole new world of possibilities that I had never considered for myself before.  Doors began to open.  I learned to listen to my curiosity and to explore.  I learned self-efficacy and that I could trust and depend on myself.  What a huge relief that was.  The power of connection became very clear, and I realized I cannot survive and live my best life without it.

I believe that coaching has the power to lift people out of their confined spaces within themselves so they can truly see who they are.  It has the power to help people see the strengths they bring to the world.  It is my dream to help others see the perfection of themselves and of those around them and to build connections across barriers and obstacles that we all face every day.
